Rural Banks
Membership to MMC is open to all Mindanao based rural financial institutions engaged in microfinance and with an outreach of at least 500 active microfinance clients. Its first members were PCFC funded MFIs participating under the Asian Development Bank and International Fund for Agriculture Development funded RMF Project.
MMC as of March 2008 has a total of 41 regular member institutions composed of 21 rural banks, 9 non-government organizations, 7 cooperatives, and 4 cooperative banks.
MMC continues to promote and campaign for additional members prioritizing organizations present in frontier areas or have plans to expand to geographic locations or poverty sectors that are not fully served by the present membership.
